This book is targeted toward younger, pre-retirement age investors, who are currently saving or investing and looking for some guidance on the best ways to choose investments and put together a long-term investment plan. This book does not go into detail on issues of cash flow and debt-management. I am hoping to finish another book in the coming months that deals with some of those problems.
In Let Your Money Grow, I describe some of the changes and challenges that are affecting younger workers in America such as the shift from pension plans to self-directed retirement plans (like 401(k)s) and the future of Social Security. I also address some of the problems that investors often run into such as paying too much for investments and improper diversification. In this book I've tried to provide some important investing and saving concepts that are so critical to effective investing, but which are so often ignored. I hope that the ideas in this book improve your financial future.
